Wendy G. Janocha, Administrative Coordinator
Wendy has 20 + years of management experience in scientific and software organizations. She was the Manager of Administrative Services from 2005 to 2010 at Unicentric, Inc., a company that provides adaptable healthcare and human service solutions to improve their customer's operational efficiency. At Unicentric she directed the daily administrative activities of the organization. From 1992-2004 she was a Manager at Gaussian Inc., a highly specialized computational chemistry software company. There she was responsible for daily operations, including managing the sales and customer service staff, negotiating contracts, coordinating domestic and international trade shows, and developing international sales agent partnerships. Prior to that, Wendy was the Allocations Coordinator for the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center. There she directed a combined staff of full-time employees and students while managing the NSF grants for supercomputing applications. She also coordinated national supercomputing center peer review meetings, training workshops, and special events. Wendy has a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from the University of Phoenix, Pittsburgh Campus.
Senthil Natarajan, Grid Computing Specialist
Senthil received his Master of Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh and his Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Annamalai University in India. He has several years of experience in designing and building enterprise level, distributed object oriented applications. Senthil's scientific interests include grid computing, high performance distributed computing, high throughput computing, and service-on-demand architecture. He is currently Grid Computing Specialist for Computing Services and Systems Development (CSSD). He is largely responsible for the work done on Pitt's grid computing system called PittGrid, whose computing resources are available to the Center for Simulation and Modeling.
